TANTRAANSHA
Keeping in mind the importance of infusing the latest technology and development in the field of Computer Science to the curriculum, the department has conducted various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the BCA students in these academic years. The department has conducted 5 Guest Lectures on various technology related topics, 3 Student development programs, 6 One-Day Technical Workshops, and 1 Career guidance Program for the students.
In association with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, 1, 3-Day workshop and 1, 6-weeks training program has been conducted for the students on Artificial Intelligence.
Miss. Karuna Acharya, Radha, Pushpa, Harshitha-Team of around 10 BCA students have made us proud by winning Intercollegiate competitions held in various degree colleges of Bangalore. Faculty members; Vinod Annigeri, Anuradha, Megha & Pushpavathi have attended various conferences/Seminars during the year.
During Nirmithi-IT-Fest, the Department has conducted 6 various technology based intra-class competitions for the students.
The Department had arranged Industrial visit to Infosys Campus Mysore to help the student community to get a firsthand experience about the environment of the software industry. Out of 21 Final year BCA students 13 have been recruited through Campus Recruitment process in various MNCs like Wipro, HDFC and Yellow Express during 2018-19.
Results of 2018-2019 are as follows; I-Sem: 87%, II-Sem: 93%, III-Sem:88%, IV-Sem: 90%, V-Sem:81% , VI-Sem: 82%
